StS1 and StS2 card pools overlap in names, but not always in role.

Returning card names still help veterans orient themselves, but the sequel changes more than frame labels. Silent has the most visible public card-pool churn, colorless cards still connect multiple class plans, and the two new classes add card languages that simply did not exist in Slay the Spire 1.

Returning cards

Cards like Bash or Zap still feel familiar, but their value now lives inside Ancients, alternate acts, and newer class mechanics.

Silent changed most

Mega Crit directly flagged Sly, discard tempo, and a different Blade Dance direction, which makes Silent the clearest public card overhaul.

New class languages

Doom, Souls, Stars, and Forge are not card-pool decorations. They create whole drafting patterns that the first game never had.

Official Video

Use the gameplay trailer to put the gallery back into combat context.

A card wall is most useful when you still remember the pace of the UI, how hands form during fights, and how quickly turns move once a run starts snowballing. The official gameplay trailer is still the cleanest reset for that.

The gameplay trailer helps the card library read like a real battle context instead of an isolated database dump.

Cards FAQ

How many cards are in the Slay the Spire 2 card gallery?

This card library tracks the visible Early Access card pool and keeps the gallery searchable by character or colorless cards.

Does this page include upgraded Slay the Spire 2 cards?

Yes. The upgraded toggle only appears once the current pool has a full upgraded render set, so the switch never pretends to be complete when it is not.

What should I open after browsing the card gallery?

Most players should jump next to the characters page, the compare page, or the tips page to understand why a card matters during a real run.
